The gas fridge (known as the absorption fridge) though not widely used as the electric fridge
(referred to as the compressor fridge), it works just as well. In some places the cost of

mixes with hydrogen gas, and evaporation occurs to
create the cold temperatures required for use as a fridge. Finally the absorber absorbs the ammonia gas
in water. The process repeats itself to continually power the fridge.
If its important for the fridge to produce the least amount of noise and disturbance, a gas fridge is a excellent item to buy. Unlike its competitor, the electric refrigerator, the availability and choice is limited. Just going to an electrical retail outlet, there are scores of electrical refrigerators but very few, if any gas fridges.
